- Does the choice of the color of your tubing matter?
Yes. Certain factors must be considered because the color has an influence on the thaw.
- Question to ask yourself when choosing the color:
Where are the lines to be installed in your sugar bush located? (North, South, East, West, exposure to the sun)?
The color Gray thaws more quickly on exposure to the sun compared to other colors.
Some maple syrup producers prefer to choose based on aesthetics so that the tubing has an effect:
